Passive Meditation Versus Active Meditation

Commonly when we think of meditation, most people involve passive meditation. But both forms of meditation can be helpful, and I find doing both regularly gives me the best of both worlds! Try to experiment and see what feels and works best for you – we are all different. This simply means choosing a meditation type that requires little to no movement, or action. It is sedentary and very relaxing.

Active Meditation

This is a meditation that can be achieved during your everyday life, and through various forms of movement. Dance Meditation is very beneficial.

Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness is the psychological process of purposely bringing one’s attention to experiences occurring in the present moment without judgment, which one develops through the practice of meditation and the present moment awareness. Heart Meditation is the key to forgiveness of self and others.

Primordial Sound meditation

allows you to embark on an inner journey to experience the quiet that already exists within you and reconnect to your spirit. Through this place of stillness, you will find the birthplace of happiness, creativity, and possibilities. ​
